So remember how I said I was getting a waffle iron for free? Man, I love free stuff. Anyway, it finally came and I swear, I’ve been using that thing almost every other day. It’s is an awesome waffle maker!

Let me tell you a waffle story, in pictures…

Here is my new waffle iron. Isn’t she pretty?

First, I whipped up a batch of batter. I think this was Bisquick. I’ve also made sweet potato waffles. Yum!

Then I poured it into the heated waffle iron…

…closed the lid

…set the timer…

…and drank my coffee.

Four minutes later, I opened the lid and saw this…

Which I then gave to these monkeys:

Who enjoyed them immensely.

But one was not enough!

Yes, I shared the rest of the waffles. But I didn’t wanna!
